Solutions for Some Missing Teeth | Swissedent Dental Dentures Clinic in London, UK
If you have some teeth missing a partial denture could be the solution for you to restore your smile, improve speech and allow you to eat comfortably. This will also prevent further damage to your teeth and stop teeth from tilting and moving. There are 3 options available for partials in terms of materials, plastic (acrylic), flexible (nylon), metal (chrome).
Plastic dentures are the basic standard of replacing missing. They are slightly thicker than the other two options (3 - 4mm) as they rely on a thicker material to be strong. Different colours of acrylic can ensure a natural blend with the mouth and metal clasps can be used for added grip.
Valplast flexible dentures are comfortable to wear and easy to adapt to. They are light weight , thin (1.5mm) and flexible which makes them virtually unbreakable. They blend in naturally with the gums due to its translucent colour and is gripped in securely via gum coloured clasps wrapped around natural teeth this provides a stable chewing experience.
